Bike The Lake Michigan Area

People travel to far off distances to have multi day adventures when many are awaiting right outside their front door. Chicago might not have multi-day hiking trails but we do have biking trails. Combine the bike with State Parks, Camping, Cabins, Hotels... and weekend adventures are at your door step.

GUIDED TOURS AND RESOURCES
Out Our Front Door provides exploratory adventures by immersing and educating in the area's history, culture, and the uniquely beautiful natural habitats of the Lake Michigan Area through bicycling. You can go on your own by picking up a trail book/map or join us on one of our guided tours, where we reveal the grandness of Chicagoland and beyond.

About Us

"Through adventure we come to better understand ourselves as well as our world, from our neighbor down to the smallest piece of prairie grass. Through this growth and shared experience, we learn to love with a more open heart and inspire others to do the same.  Appreciation for one’s self and one’s environment flourishes in the atmosphere of adventure. In the challenge. In the self reflection. In the vulnerabililty. In the completion. In the stories that float from the mouth once the adventure is long gone; to stories that will put the twinkle of inspiration in the eyes of the listeners."
