Campgrounds around
the Lower Lake Michigan Basin

Exploring the Lower Lake Michigan Basin Area by bike.
We encourage adventure and that means exploring on your own. There is nothing like sitting down and looking at a map and planning out your next weekend trip. The map and resources down below serve as a guide to help plan your route. The maps have informational text points in the icons and in addition, there are also hidden map layers that show available train stations.  A great resource to have on hand is the "Active Transportation's Chicagoland bicycle map". You can find their map in most Chicago City bike shops or on their site itself. Another map to have on hand is Northwestern Indiana's Greenways and Blueways Map.

This list will continue to grow. More campgrounds to come this 2016/2017 Winter.  Add your photos or write up a review (even if the campground is not listed yet). The more participation the better.   > Upload your photos and tips here
