The South Loop Ride

South Loop Ride

Picture
Under construction- This bike ride is currently being routed and being envisioned...
Highlights will include...
Ride out west from the city on the Illinois Prairie Path towards the Fox River where Bald Eagles congregate in the Aurora area.  Enter the farm lands of America as you travel south through miles of scenic scapes. Bridge over the Illinois River and cross historic Route 66 as you make entrance into Midewin National Tallgrass Prairie. A National Treasure landscape, just as of this year 26 bison will be reintroduced in this prairie to roam and eventually support about 100 in total!!! Continue east towards Indiana through more scenic spaces then North to link up with the south end of the lake front path. More highlights to come. Need to do more research rides.
