Living on both the East and West Coasts, Judi has resided in Chicago long enough to claim dibs and avoid Malört. She came to biking and camping reluctantly, but now loves them so much she combines them whenever possible. In addition to biking, Judi enjoys a good hike, a beach day, and some bouldering with her lovely partner, adventurous kiddo, and adorable dog. She’s traveled to 20 countries and plans to visit at least 20 more. Her indoorsy pursuits include reading, knitting, and cooking. Community-college English professor is her day job, and yes, she can deploy her teacher voice when needed – and she’s never surprised when folks ignore it.
