The Where The Wild Things Grow program encourages bicycle community involvement in ecological restoration. A partnership and alliance network between the Out Our Front Door Organization and Habitat2030 to assist local organizations and local land stewards to restore and maintain native habitats in the Lower Lake Michigan Basin Area by bike. Let’s create native corridors that lead to natural open lands.
We will join the North Branch Restoration Project and Centennial Volunteers to restore this oak woodland to its former beauty by bike! "This 76 acre site is new to restoration and will depend on the community of volunteers to remove invasive species and collect native seed, and much more.
