​​Back from the underground to satisfy your woodland soul. Featuring: The Serbians of Sunnyday Tap, Plain and Simple Bike Rides and The House of OOFD.

For Play Study & Health: A Bike Ride from Logan Square to the North Branch Trail's Forest Glen Woods Preserve and back for a hands on experience that will literally last a lifetime.

If you ever wondered what the Chicago woods inhabit then you are cordially invited to this wild ride. Come for the camaraderie and leave with community.

EVENT DETAILS
​Meet at Logan Square Monument 9:00 am
A Casual One hour bike ride to Forest Glen Woods.
Do Good & Feel Good restoration work from 10am-1:00pm.

AFTER | DRINKS & FOOD 
For those who are interested we will stop at Sunnyday Tap for homemade bread, Serbian food, and cheers to a well-deserved beverage. Then finish back at Logan Square.

WHAT TO BRING
Tools & Gloves are provided. Please bring a water bottle, bike lock, and shoes/clothing for the woods.

To Forest Glen parking lot, located at 5420 N. Forest Glen Ave in Chicago. (you can also meet us directly at Forest Glen Woods if you want at 10am)

​The Where The Wild Things Grow program encourages bicycle community involvement in ecological restoration throughout the Chicagoland regional trail network. A partnership between the Out Our Front Door Organization and Habitat2030 to assist local organizations and local land stewards to restore and maintain native habitats in the Lower Lake Michigan Basin Area by bike. Join us to create native corridors that lead to natural open lands.

We will join the North Branch Restoration Project and Centennial Volunteers to restore this unique woodland, savanna, and floodplain to its former beauty by bike! "This site is new to restoration and will depend on the community of volunteers to remove invasive species collect and distribute native seeds, and reduce erosion issues and much more." -NBRP
