Can you envision a regional trail network of paths lined with native habitats leading to our regions State Parks and Natural native open spaces?

    Petition

This is a supportive petition for public opinion to close the gap in the I&M Canal Trail, and to see regional trails used as Natural Heritage Corridors to link the Lower Lake Rim’s native openlands, forest preserves, and natural habitat spaces for natural migration routes. I would like to see highly regarded conservationists, naturalists, ecologists, and native restoration professionals in their field to have a seat at the table during regional trail projects and construction phases.

I ________, would like to see the extension of the I&M Canal trail completed to the city of Chicago, and the creation of Natural Heritage Corridors for the Lower Lake Rim.
