#1. Eat breakfast-
This should be common sense but some people skip this crucial meal because they running late or Don't think they have the time. But I'll tell you this, you will spend more time out on the trail wishing you had eaten than the time it would have taken to grab a quick full rounded Fuel up. Our suggestion Carbs and a lot of them.
#2. Don't wait until your hungry-
Always eat before you are hungry. This will make the trip more pleasurable....
#3. Follow tip number two
Seriously do not wait until you are hungry. You will burn out your reserves. Always eat a good full meal packed with sustaining energizing carbs. Snacks are great and needed during short breaks but eating a full meal will give you super powers (at least that's what it will feel like)
#4. Protein at night-
Make sure to have a heavy protein dinner at the end of your day. This will help build and repair your muscles for the next day.
#5. Bananas are your best friend
Bananas for breakfast, bananas for breaks, go bananas for bananas
